Online: From What If to What Next: Imagining a Post-COVID 19 World

In this workshop, Rob will introduce the ideas that are central to his new book ‘From What Is to What If’ and set out why focusing on building the imaginative capacity in our culture is vital to our survival. Are we living in a time of imaginative contraction, and if so, why? And how might we rebuild it? What would the intentional, society-wide rebuilding of the imagination look like? And looking forward, he will sketch out his next project, which focuses on our ability to ask good What If questions, and what that might tell us about what a post-COVID 19 world might look like.
