Available to view from 4pm, Thursday 17th September 2020
We are thrilled to welcome one of this century’s greatest nature writers and the author of the Samuel Johnson Prize and Costa Book of the Year prize-winning H is for Hawk. She’ll be sharing her latest book: a collection of her best-loved writing about the human relationship to the natural world, touching on topics both personal and political and as varied as catching swans, hunting mushrooms, twentieth century spies, and high-rise buildings, looking at time, memory, love and loss and how we make the world around us. Helen is an Affiliated Research Scholar at the Department of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Cambridge and recently presented The Hidden Wilds of the Motorway documentary for BBC Four.
