The last Farmers’ Market was for Christmas 2019 – but has not been able to operate since the covid crisis erupted. But now more than ever we need bo be supporting our local food producers:

Kennaway House seeks local producers for new monthly Farmers’ Market
Kennaway House in Sidmouth is looking to set up a monthly Farmers’ Market and is appealing for local producers interested in taking part. If all goes well the first event will be held on Kennaway House’s lawn on Saturday, September 12.
Kennaway House is a handsome Regency mansion standing in its own grounds at the heart of Sidmouth. After a £1 million restoration carried out in 2008-2009, Kennaway House and its gardens offer an historic and beautiful setting for many purposes.

Farmers’ Market: Saturday 12th September, 10am -1pm
Kennaway House is restarting a Farmers’ Market this autumn, with the highest quality local producers and traders showcasing the best our area has to offer. There will be a range of fruit and vegetables, as well as cakes and refreshments available.
Given the current situation, hosting events outdoors enables us to keep everyone as safe as possible, with a one-way system in place and hand sanitizer provided on entry. If the weather is unsettled, stalls can be accessed via the tarmac driveway.
We hope to see you there and stay safe!
Farmers’ Markets will take place on the second Saturday of each month.
