SkillShare Devon: online networking

November 13, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

SkillShare 2021

Hot on heels of COP26, CAG Devon’s online SkillShare explores themes of imagination and storytelling to win hearts and minds for climate action.

Is winning hearts and minds the key to realising our vision of sustainable communities in Devon? How can we create action through imagination and storytelling?

You’ll be inspired and excited to hear from Rob Hopkins (founder of Transition Network, author of “From what is to what if”) about the power of imagination to create change in communities; James Ellwood from FotoNow CIC, a social enterprise which specialises in visual storytelling to stimulate change from the grassroots up; Crowdfunder – which uses storytelling to win hearts, minds and money; and Sustainable Tiverton, whose recent storytelling secured them funding and wider support for their eco-hub.

You can pose your questions at the Q&A Panel discussion, and enjoy networking and exploring the themes from the speakers in workshops/breakout rooms.  All in three hours from the comfort of your own home!  Coffee and cake optional (but recommended).

This event is free and open to anyone, anywhere with an interest in sustainable communities and climate action. Details and booking here.

Please share this with colleagues and friends who might be interested. See you there!
