Recycling for Good Causes

From the latest Turn Lyme Green newsletter:

Save that!  A Recyling Scheme for Good Causes

Tracey West, director of The Word Forest Organisation, is organising a local recycling scheme to benefit her very worthy charity. Under the umbrella of Recycling for Good Causes, we can all contribute the following items rather than consign them to the landfill:

Jewellery, Currencies and Coins, Stamps, mobile phones, video cameras, old film cameras, SLFs and lenses, Digital cameras, Sat Navs, Games consoles, Ipods, MP3 players, laptops and tablet computers.  Please note no ink or toner cartridges are taken.

You can bring any of these to Turn Lyme Green meetings each month and we will pass them on to Tracey.  If anyone would be willing to act as a collection point for any items, do please let us know.  Everything we can recycle through this scheme will raise money for The Word Forest.  They are continuing to plant 100s of trees and build schools in Kenya.
