Here’s today’s piece from the Memorandum [ie: blog] page of the new Cherishing Sidmouth Cemeteries website:
Last night at the VGS 2023 AGM, the proposal to set up a ‘friends’ group for the Sid Valley’s cemeteries was put forward: VGS 2023 AGM – 14 November – agenda – Vision Group for Sidmouth
The evening saw the first public showing of the new CSC website – with invitations for people to send in photographs, which is already happening. Plus, names were gathered from attendees for a mailing list – with the promise of a zoom meeting and a site meeting in the very near future.
This is early days for the project, but it is hoped that some sort of progress can be made.
