From the Plastic Warriors’ latest newsletter, out today:
We are also running a new scheme called ‘Adopt A Spot’ where we are asking people to take on a small area, even just their street, and litter pick it occasionally just to keep it clean.
We are testing the theory that litter breeds litter, by attempting to get everywhere looking litter free.
We will see how it goes and let you know anecdotal results over time, but if anyone is able to adopt a spot themselves then let me know and I will add you to this map.
It’s only been going a few days so it’s not covered yet but it would be great to cover the whole area with great people. Remember just take on a little, only what you can comfortably manage, so it doesn’t become a chore!
