Ancient Tree Recording in the Clyst Valley

  • by JW

From the Great Trees in the Clyst Valley Project:

This Sunday, 30th  September 9.30-13.30  we are recording ancient and veteran trees at Bishop’s Court, Sowton.

This is a beautiful historic landscape of parkland surrounding a medieval bishop’s palace. We could really do with some more volunteers to help us.

Why not come along and enjoy a fun and interesting outdoor activity, and contribute records to the national Ancient Tree Inventory (for more on the inventory, see the Woodland Trust website here: https://ati.woodlandtrust.org.uk/)

We welcome both newcomers to tree recording, and those folk who are already experts, or have attended one of our training days.

Equipment and training will be provided.

Do get in touch if you would like to attend, or you would like to know more.

Regards
