“As we come into prime butterfly spotting season and as restrictions continue to ease, there’s lots to get involved in…”
Here is this month’s newsletter from Butterfly Conservation:
After experiencing a very cold and wet May, we’ve welcomed the warmer weather and the emergence of more butterflies.
As we come into prime butterfly spotting season and as restrictions continue to ease, there’s lots to get involved in, and that’s why this month is a bumper edition of All Aflutter.
Plus, there’s just over a month to go until our annual Big Butterfly Count returns, and we’re pleased to welcome a new sponsor, garden wildlife specialists Vivara.
In the meantime, you can record all your butterfly sightings on our relaunched iRecord app. The free app has been completely redeveloped to give it a new lease of life, improved performance, and some new functionality. Click here to download it.
Thank you – together we did it!
The Government has announced they will be add a legally binding target to the Environment Bill to half the loss of wildlife by 2030 in England. Thank you to everyone who got behind the campaign, signed our petition, and helped make it a success.
The fight’s not over yet though. We need to see an effective target on the page, with funding and enforcement to back it up. So if you haven’t yet signed, click below.
