Exploring the landscape and its history.
We are allowed out and about to get some fresh air and exercise – not too far from home, though. However, there are so many beautiful pathways within walking distance around these parts – including the moorlands to the west, for a good couple of hours treking.
The Woodbury Wide Awake project has produced a short documentary as part of a sustainable community project funded by the East Devon AONB Sustainable Development Fund:
This community film celebrates the life of botanist and illustrator Rev. William Keble Martin, with recollections from local people who knew him. We also explore the ways in which the landscape has changed in the 50 years since he lived here, and what we can do to take care of our beautiful parish. I made this documentary as part of the Woodbury Wide Awake celebrations of 2019.
