NuBeez has been given a licence to operate electric tuk-tuks for private hire and said it hopes to start with two tuk tuks in Newquay in 2021… NuBeez said that it is looking to have two ZBee electric tuk tuks running in the town and hope to eventually expand to other towns in Cornwall. The company is operated by Georgia Horsley and Prasad Raja Venkatesh who said they have plans to expand to Padstow, St Ives and Fowey and will operate between April and October.

Bangkok’s iconic tuk-tuks are suffering because of the coronavirus, with tourists scarce on the streets, so some drivers have banded together to offer an economical new parcel delivery service. About 50 tuk-tuk drivers have formed Tuk Tuk X and they unveiled their new business on Tuesday on a Facebook account, offering delivery of goods in Bangkok.
