A selection from the Transition Town movement’s monthly latest…

This month’s highlights:

What to do about the Election?
Elections campaigns can divide our communities, but it can also be a chance to influence and to amplify voices and views rarely heard. Read our latest article about how communities can and are engaging positively with the election, building common ground and raising their priorities and ideas for a better future.  We’ve also gathered in one place a host of resources and opportunities to support the work of other aligned causes in the coming weeks – and after the dust settles on results day.

What’s on in June?
Huge thanks to all who have taken part in our Transition consultation – there has been so much useful feedback which will help shape a funding application to support the work of Transition in the UK in the coming years. Join us on 12 June to hear the plan and give your reactions before we finalise them and seek funding to bring them to life.

Toolkit: Britain Talks Climate

Based on a major study of how the population views climate action, Britain Talks Climate has launched a toolkit to help better understand and engage with people’s priorities, questions and concerns. It finds people really care about climate action and want to tackle it as a society, as well as showing what stories and messages resonate with people of different values and backgrounds. Find out more
