Make do and mend

  • by JW

Take the opportunity to practice your do-it-yourself skills.

The Sidmouth Repair Café offers a great opportunity for anyone to pop along with a much-loved but very broken lawnmower or laptop or chair, to receive a touch of TLC from the team of experienced ‘fixers’. Unfortunately, they  won’t be meeting for the time being on its usual last Saturday of the month to offer friendly advice and a cuppa.

But they are still operating ‘virtually’ – and stories and tips can be shared on its Facebook pages.

So, take the opportunity to practice your do-it-yourself skills – and try fixing that garden gate which you meant to get round to looking at but never had the time…
