News from Sidmouth Cycling Action Group
SUSTRANS – the national cycling group – should be visiting Sidmouth shortly: the Director for the southwest region will be meeting ‘on site’ to consider SUSTRANS’ role in mapping out a route (the old rail track between Sidmouth and what was Sidmouth junction – and hence on to Exeter) and encouraging the County Council.
Lester Willmington – of the County Council’s Highways Dept and the most senior person concerned with cycle tracts and cycling in Devon – has agreed to meet with representatives from the Vision Group.
