Keith Owen Fund awards Friends of The Byes £640 towards the cost of planting more wildflowers in Sid Meadow this spring
The planting will cost £740, and many volunteers gave up their Saturday morning to ‘Shake a box’ in various locations throughout Sidmouth to help raise the small difference. Generous donations meant Friends of the Byes have hit their target, raising an impressive £231.21. Any surplus will be used to fund more wildflowers in the Byes.

- 12.04.14 – Planting trees along river bank, clearing water lane entrance and staking planted trees.
- 19.04.14 – Seeding Sid meadow
- 26.04.14 – Clearing Toll house flower bed and planting more trees along river bank.
- 10.05.14 – Planting herbs and mulberries in Community Orchard and mulching trees.
*Meet in Community Orchard 10 am – 12 noon unless other arrangements are made.
