In June the VGS celebrated its 10th Birthday at the Anchor Inn followed by the AGM. All officers were returned to their posts. A discussion followed about how the VGS could work with other groups in Sidmouth. Many thanks to all our visitors and It was excellent to see so many members of the Town Council present.
Don’t forget the regular monthly Farmer’s Market which focusses on local food but also includes impartial energy switching advice from SidEnergy and is a great place to catch up with friends over a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of homemade cake. The next market is on Saturday 11th July from 9.30am until 1.00pm.
On 14th and 15th July the University of Exeter is running an Earthwalk from Beer to Sidmouth with overnight camping. It will finish with a discussion at the Dissenter in Sidmouth with the VGS and invited members of the community. There are still a few places left so to find out more go to
