And here is their most recent, just out today:
Campaign Update 28
Thank you to everyone who recently submitted further evidence to the Planning Inspectorate. We also submitted further evidence totally almost 70 pages. Within this we included to consultants’ reports who agreed to undertake their work at virtually no cost and so we are incredibly grateful to them for their time, insight and generosity.
Our two consultants’ reports covered –
- Issues connected to air quality along the A375, with particular reference to the potential impact upon Sidbury Primary School and its pupils;
- How the applicants’ evidence is deficient in addressing matters connected to the Environmental Impact Assessment.
We have not attached our submission as it would only clog up your inbox. We have been assured that the District Council will post it on their planning portal. Once we have the link to it we will let you know so that you can read everything that we have submitted.
The eagle eyed among you will have noted that a couple of planning application notices have been posted at the site in Sidford. Having made enquiries of the District Council we have been advised that –
You may be aware that we have erected an additional site notice in relation to the above application/appeal. There will also be a related advert in the press.
We have done this under the instruction of the Planning Inspectorate as they advised us to advertise the application as possibly affecting the setting of listed buildings.
In effect, this gives people the opportunity to make further comments on the application, particularly in relation to affecting the setting of listed buildings, but it also provides an opportunity for people to make any additional general comments they may wish.
All comments received will be forwarded to the Inspector as part of the current appeal.
I am sorry if this has/is/will cause some confusion but we have been asked to do this by the Planning Inspectorate as part of the appeal.
Should you wish to respond to this further opportunity to comment to the District Council, and not the Planning Inspectorate. You need to do so by 21 June quoting planning reference 18/1094/MOUT. You can either send a letter directly to the East Devon District Council, Blackdown House, Border Road, Heathpark, Honiton EX14 1EJ or by posting your comments via the District Council’s planning portal on its website.
Best wishes
