working with residents of Glenisla Terrace and drawing on skills and volunteer support from the Sid
Valley Biodiversity Group and Friends of The Byes.

The Ham’s a great place to knock a ball about, but otherwise 1s in need of a bit of tlc:

At last month’s Café Scientifique session on the work of the Sid Valley Biodiversity Group, one of the projects talked about was what’s being done on the Ham:

First off was an introduction to plans to enhance the Ham, with Jan Strapp recounting how she’s working with Sidmouth in Bloom and local residents to bring in a richer abundance of plant life to what’s become a rather scrappy area.

And at this month’s town council meeting on Monday, the Trustees looked at how it is progressing – with the Agenda Item 7 appearing on page 7:
