This coming Monday sees the regular quarterly meeting of Sidmouth Town Council’s Environment Committee.

Engagement 

6.1 To receive the Red Amber Green (RAG) report and note the recommendations of the Climate Awareness Sidmouth (CAPS) projects being incorporated back into the Vision Group Sidmouth (VGS). Report 1 attached

Built Environment 

7.1 To receive RAG reports from VGS projects including Cherishing Sidmouth Cemeteries Project, Sidmouth Cycle Campaign and Friends of Glen Goyle. Reports 2, 3, 4 attached

7.3 To receive an update from the Chair on the progress of the project to help improve the quality of paths, roads and signs in Sidmouth. 

7.3 To consider a funding application for the purchase of a new blower for Sidmouth in Bloom. 

Natural Environment 

8.1 To receive any questions on the Sid Valley Biodiversity Group and Food Forest RAG reports.  

8.2 To receive an update from the Chair regarding Local Government Reorganisation. 

8.3 To receive a report from Sidmouth Arboretum and to discuss how to promote their ongoing success. 

8.4 To receive an update on the Bactiquick water testing project. 

8.5 To note the River Sid Catchment Group RAG report and discuss the recent visit to the Cave Estate. 

8.6 To receive any questions on the Friends of the Byes RAG report.
