Business West Chambers of Commerce conducted a survey of 1,139 businesses in the South West of England between 2nd and 17th April 2020 to highlight the scale and significant impact that coronavirus (COVID-19) has had on companies in the region:

We believe this is the biggest survey yet conducted during the crisis and gives a depth of insight into the scale and type of impact being faced by businesses, with an overwhelming majority of respondents (96%) reporting that coronavirus (COVID-19) was affecting their business.

Visit Devon are working with other partners across the South West region in undertaking a business impact survey to collect more hard evidence regarding the impact of Covid-19 and what support businesses need for their future survival and growth after Lockdown.  

The survey evidence is being gathered across the South West and will be shared with Government, local MPs and Councillors to lobby for future sector support.
