We’ve got one week to go to provide any further input into the Local Plan:

Help us shape the future of East Devon by sharing your thoughts on our four key Council Plan priorities: Have Your Say Today – East Devon Council Plan – Commonplace

With more from a press release last month:

East Devon District Council (EDDC) is inviting residents to participate in a crucial consultation process aimed at shaping the future Council Plan.

The Council Plan outlines a roadmap for the work of EDDC over the next 4 years and covers the key priorities of the council: better homes and communities for all; a greener East Devon; a resilient economy; and quality service delivery. Residents can choose to comment on all four priorities or just the priority that interests them.

The consultation will give residents the chance to have their say and ensure the new EDDC Council Plan best reflects the views of its local people... The consultation period will run until Friday 18 [sic] January 2024 providing ample time for the community to submit their feedback. EDDC is committed listening to what our residents feel is important to them so that we can reflect this in the final Council Plan.

The VGS news pages have already explored some of the issues – for example, on good design.

Plus, here are some postings which might help put together some thoughts, from the earlier stages of the draft East Devon Local Plan

Finally, here are the comments made during the Draft Local Plan Consultation and Feedback Report on the council’s website.

You have a week to submit your comments!
