Drill Hall plans to be considered Wednesday 28th August

Back in February, the Drill Hall was saved from demolition, with a commitment to respect the integrity of the building:

The buyer was revealed as a company committed to the authentic seaside experience:

And earlier this month it submitted its plans:

The planning application can be viewed on the District Council’s planning portal:

Conversion of hall to restaurant (A3 use), creation of new balcony, replacement of rear extension with new rear extension, external terrace to form seating area

And this Wednesday, 28th August at 6.30pm, the Town Council’s planning committee will be looking at the application.
