Hundreds of people have gathered in the centre of Drake Circus this lunchtime as protrestors stage a mass ‘die-in’.
South East Cornwall Extinction Rebellion Group have gathered in Plymouth’s largest shopping centre to raise awareness of the impact of excessive consumerism on climate change and they also want to raise awareness around the loss of biodiversity.
The area has descended into chaos as shoppers are struggling to get through while the protestors lie on the floor of the shopping centre.
