Graham Cooper: visions for Sidmouth

  • by JW

… a personal and visionary perspective

.

Now is a good time to look back, now that we can look at the Vision Group for Sidmouth twenty years on.

And perhaps a more stimulating way to look back at the sort of things the VGS has been up to these last two decades is to look back with a more personal and indeed visionary perspective.

And certainly the way to do this is through stimulating visuals.

Last month, we looked at the work of Graham Cooper: a retrospective and an appreciation … describing and painting, designing and envisioning a sense of place.

This month we look at the stimulating visual work he has done over the years for and about Sidmouth. All of these contributions go to the heart of what it means to be ‘visionary’ – and the VGS has been very grateful for Graham’s visions – both imaginary and practical, as we try to create our ‘vision for Sidmouth’.

Finally, much of this work will be on display next month at Kennaway House Sidmouth: more info on that coming…
