Saturday 22nd May – a day of events
.
It’s that time of year again:
Sidmouth Sea Fest – Sidmouth Coastal Community Hub CIC
.
And here is the programme for this year:
Sidmouth Sea Fest 2021 would have taken place on Saturday 22nd May on the Ham – instead on that day organisers Sidmouth Coastal Community Hub will be:
- installing a temporary art exhibition produced by Sidmouth School children in the community garden border area next to the Ham
- sharing stories from SCCH’s new venue The Fishermen’s Shed with storyteller Janet Dowling
- posting a zoom performance of Coral Reef Song from Sidmouth Sea Fest Community Choir
- hosting a live online author talk – in conversation with Helen Scales, author of The Brilliant Abyss. 7pm till 8pm via zoom – tickets available on Eventbrite
.
The big event comes is a talk from marine biologist, diver, surfer, broadcaster and writer, Helen Scales:
Join us for this special “live online – in conversation” event with Helen Scales author of The Brilliant Abyss for Sidmouth Sea Fest 2021
The Brilliant Abyss tells the story of our relationship with the deep sea – how we imagine, explore and exploit it.
