‘Solution in sight’ for coastguard on Sidmouth beaches

Earlier in the year, East Devon beaches were given awards – but Sidmouth didn’t manage to get the top award:

The District Council’s Beach Safety Officer Peter Blythe, got in touch with the Vision Group – and spoke at its AGM last month.

Things might be moving forward – and it’s a question of resources with talks happening between the District Council and the Lifeboat service.
