“Driftwood and Thrift”
The VGS will be at this year’s SeaFest – again showcasing its ongoing projects, latest ideas and other things it’s involved in:
And in particular this year’s Champions Awards – which is all about ‘make do and mend’:
Because, this year’s SeaFest is all about ‘make do and mend’!
Our theme is Driftwood and Thrift – plenty of room for creative interpretation picking up on sustaining our seas, recycle, reuse and use resources carefully! Thrift is especially important at this challenging time – so hints, tips, ideas and good practice at your stall will all be welcome!
Driftwood is often a useful home for marine biodiversity and thrift is about reducing waste, managing well in difficult economic times as well as being a coastal plant!
