Sid Valley Help is a local charity that provides information on health and social care support services and organisations in the Sid Valley. During the coronavirus outbreak we are working with Sidmouth Town Council and other local organisations to provide information and support.

If you have a new continuous cough and/or a high temperature, please stay at home for 7 days. Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. If your symptoms are serious, or get worse, visit the NHS 111 online service.

Do not attend the Surgery with a high temp (above 37.8). Due to Coronavirus we will now be undertaking telephone triage – if you have a GP appointment booked you will be contacted by a GP for a telephone consultation.

Nurse appointments – Diabetic, Asthma & COPD reviews will be by telephone.

Sidmouth Town Council – Community Resources leaflet 19 March 2020

Sidmouth Town Council have issued a leaflet on Community Resources in response to the outbreak. A copy can be downloaded HERE. Various local groups, businesses and individual volunteers are providing services for people who may not have family or friends to help them. The leaflet provides a summary of the schemes operating within the Sid Valley, particularly home delivery for food. Up to date information will be posted on the Town Council website visit: www.sidmouth.gov.uk

Sid Valley Help booklet ‘Telephone Shopping and Home Delivery’

The booklet was updated in January 2020 and lists businesses offering a range of goods and services. It can be downloaded HERE.  We have a small number of printed copies and to request one to be posted to you please phone us on 01395 892011 and tell us your name and address.
