  • by JW

Exmouth is busy:

Our Planet, Our Exmouth

.

The town’s latest green project is also doing very well:

Wild Exmouth

And they’ve just launched this, as announced on the District Council’s website:

.

My patch for nature

Breaking news: My patch for nature campaign now launched.

My patch for nature campaign is our ambitious vision to create a network of wild places across Exmouth. We are looking for 4000 households to pledge to make a part of their patch better for wildlife. You could come up with your own ideas or create Hedgehog highways in boundaries, bug hotels, new ponds, window boxes of flowers for pollinators, new apple trees etc.

Once you have registered we will send you a free packet of wildflower seeds and provide you with year-round ideas for you to make a difference for wildlife. You will have the option to add your patch to our online map.

We aim to create a network of your areas to make up a nature reserve across the community. Our vision is to create “The community’s nature reserve” of over 2000 square metres.

To make your pledge and to receive your free packet of wildflower seeds please complete this form

Here is the online map of all pledges so you can see the growing network.
